Gerald Feinberg

Also Gerold Feinberg, Professor Gerold Feinberg, Dr. Gerald Feinberg, G. Feinberg, Feinburg

A professor of physics at Columbia University, where he took his doctorate in 1957, whom SRI's October 1973 research proposal named with Charles Tart as a possible consultant to its program. SRI's progress report for August to October 1974 says he had witnessed some of its early remote viewing experiments, and that a series varying the feedback given to the subject was run partly to test his hypothesis that a viewer might gain the information by precognition of his own later perception of the target. His paper 'Precognition - A Memory of Things Future?', written for a conference on quantum physics and parapsychology in Geneva in August 1974, is appended to that report.
