A psychologist at the Langley Porter Neuropsychiatric Institute, University of California, San Francisco, who was brought into SRI's program as a consultant in 1974 in connection with hypotheses about hemispheric specialization of the brain, and who supplied the program a Cognitive Style Preference Test. With David Galin he was SRI's principal consultant for the Langley Porter replication of SRI's experiment on EEG response to remote strobe-light stimuli, reported in SRI's April 1978 final report to the Naval Electronics Systems Command. In March 1977 he reviewed Targ and Puthoff's book Mind-Reach unfavorably in the New York Times Book Review.
