A researcher with a master's degree in anthropology who carried out her own ganzfeld and remote viewing experiments in other laboratories, including a long-distance remote viewing experiment between Detroit and Rome, reported with Elmar Gruber in 1980, in which she was the percipient. In September 1991 she was listed with the Mind Science Foundation in San Antonio, Texas, and by January 1993 she was a research associate at SAIC's Cognitive Sciences Laboratory; Edwin May later described her as a post-doc with his program there. At SAIC she and Stephen LaBerge ran two experiments on whether people can unconsciously detect another person staring at them from a distance.
