A software engineer in SRI International's Geoscience and Engineering Center, with a B.A. in computer science from Dartmouth College (1986). He co-authored reports for SRI Project 1291 from 1987 to 1990, among them the March 1989 review of the psychoenergetic research SRI conducted from 1973 to 1988. His résumé in SAIC's 1992 proposal lists the development of encoding schemes for outdoor scenes using fuzzy set paradigms. A remote viewing paper thanks him for writing its computer control code.
