Helmut Schmidt

Also H. Schmidt

A physicist, formerly with Boeing, who began experiments in 1969 on whether people could predict or influence random number generators, devices he is best known for developing. He worked at J. B. Rhine's Institute for Parapsychology in Durham, North Carolina, and later at the Mind Science Foundation in San Antonio, whose laboratory the National Research Council's parapsychology subcommittee visited. Reviews in the release call him the pioneer of random event generator research.
