A professor of statistics at the University of California, Davis. She was an associate professor there when Statistical Science published her 1991 review, "Replication and Meta-Analysis in Parapsychology." She co-authored SRI International's March 1989 review of its psychoenergetic research from 1973 to 1988. In 1995 she was the first of the two expert reviewers in the American Institutes for Research (AIR) evaluation of remote viewing, which noted that she had published on statistical methods in parapsychological research and had direct experience with the remote viewing program. Her review, "An Assessment of the Evidence for Psychic Functioning," is dated 1 September 1995.
