SUMMARY
At the time of this session (of 27 April 1988, at about 1530
hours )
the "Pentagon" is involved in a crucial
phase of an
agreement via a "closed door meeting" that will
facilitate the
release of USMC LTC William (Rich) Higgins from captivity in "a
=
few days" (10
days?) .
"Higgins will be with us ( freed)
soon.
Khomeini remains in seclusion, a sort of hiding; a gradual
shift
Of
power is taking place.
Every effort is being made to make it
seem natural.
The shift of power is the result of "silly stands"
(political positions) that are adversely and internationally
detrimental to Iran.
