A tall, thin, Iranian official is involved in preliminary
negotiations with European officials on behalf of the hostages.
This man has a thin face.
In late May and early June 1989,
the issue of the release of
the hostages will resurface as being analytically feasible.

Faced with continuing internal
aggravating problems of everyday
survival and "the possibility of a natural disaster", the Shites
will react in such a manner that will favor a possibility of the
releasability of the hostages.
The Iranian influence on the fate
of the hostages will be of secondary importance to the Shites
holding the hostages in Lebanon.
