In discussing the approach paranormal studies should take
he pointed out several issues :
1. Parapsychology involves an ideological struggle. Those who
are opposed to parapsychology are opposed more from an
ideological than a scientific standpoint and dealing with
ideology is a much more difficult problem .
2 . We must be very serious and thorough in our work , very
scientific ... Our work must be up to generally acceptable
standards . "
