It was located within an arid setting. There is a great deal of apprehension present at the missile site: as if it is ready to launch. The individuals present at the SAM site are also apprehensive. The individual im charge at the SAM site has a strong personality and his ego is a detriment. He will not admit to mistakes and goes on "power government in this situation. He has an intense hatred toward trips". He sees himself as an instrument of God or of the light skin: western light skin. He is dressed in a dark green uniform with few accouterments or decorations on it. It is ill- fitted and appears somewhat heavy. £ After receiving the cue, "Move slowly forward intime 12 hours", I perceived the SAM site is in an alert status. There is a rhythmic sound/alarm (a horn, bell, siren or chime) . The radar , as well as the people, are always working at the site; in other words, always at a state of alert. However, this time it is different. There is a sense Of permanency and fear among the people. The radar/control shack is going through the launch sequence now. One individual is unlocking or uncovering some sort of covered switch which is the 1. NOFORN Approved For Release 2000/08/09 : CIA-RDP96-00789R003600410001-7

However , they have neither strayed nor otherwise crossed over into the realm controlled by the people of the SAM site. One of the aircraft is larger and contains two individuals. The second craft is smaller and holds a single occupant. The former is different shades of brown (light brown, brown, dark brown, etc. ) and the latter has a blue-gray color. The composition of the aircraft types does not make any sense to me. They are either an F-15 and F-16 or an F-14 and F-18. In either case, the larger Craft contains two people and has two tail rudders while the smaller one has one person and one tail rudder. The pilot of the smaller aircraft has dark hair, a slight built, is very professional, very good at what he does and very dedicated. The pilot of the larger plane is the leader/commander of this particular mission. He comes from an affluent family (almost aristocratic). He has brown skin, dark hair and piercing black eyes. His rank is, phonetically,. "mo-qua-dem" or "ah-keed" (LTC or COL) . He could have had a pampered job and existence but He instead has worked hard while attaining his current position. has had the best the world has to offer but he has not allowed this "privileged" lifestyle to hand things to him. He has an overwhelming sense of national pride and is extremely serious about his role. He is also completely proficient at his job of 2 NOFORN Approved For Release 2000/08/09 : CIA-RDP96-00789R003600410001-7

However, he is just as serious about his job. The radars at the SAM site are tracking the two aircraft. There is confusion on my part now. (When I first perceived the SAM site, I saw the smoke trails of launched SAM's. Now, there is confusion. ) An individual at the SAM site wants to launch. 2, 3 or 4 missiles have been launched at the aircraft. The aircraft are flying east-to-west and dead-on the border as if riding a fence line. This accuracy is due to the mission leader's skill as a navigator prior to his becoming a pilot. The angle of launch for the missiles is all wrong. It is too steep for targeting the aircraft. The commander of the SAM site does not have authority, nor has he received authorization from his superiors, to launch. There's a crack somewhere in his makeup or personality. He's almost gone over the edge or something like that. He's unstable and shouldn't be in command of a SAM site. He has this position because he has been lucky in the past. His past mistakes have never caught up with him. His ego protects himself. He "is never wrong" and threatens his subordinates continually. The missiles have missed the aircraft. They are going past the planes and have landed near a compound or fighting positions: a place where there are a lot of soldiers "dug-in". The launch has been detected all over the place: Visually, by different 3 NOFORN Approved For Release 2000/08/09 : CIA-RDP96-00789R003600410001-7

The pilot is riding it all the way down. I see it sliding on the desert. Now everything is black. The tail section of the larger aircraft is damaged and that area is now on fire. 4.
