BALES OR LARGE DENSE BLOCKS OF HARD RESINOUS SUBSTANCE

AT THIS TIME (03 345 LAPR90 ), THE VESSEL APPEARS TO BE
LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF PUERTO RICO, IN THE VICINITY OF SAN
JAUN, AT APPROXIMATELY 18"35'00"N/066"05'00"W.

Where is the narcotics contraband located aboard the vessel?
RESPONSE:
BELOW DECK, IN THE VICINITY OF THE ENGINE/FUEL COMPARTMENT.
OBSERVED, WERE LARGE, TURNING GEARS AND A LARGE, OVAL-SHAPED
STORAGE TANK, WHICH IS ASSOCIATED WITH AN OILY/GREASY LIQUID.

THE AREA OF OFFLOADING/ TRANSFER APPEARS TO BE

INFORMATION ACQUIRED DURING THIS SESSION INDICATE THAT THERE ARE ILLEAGAL
DRUGS ON BOARD THIS VESSEL AT THIS TIME . ASSOCIATED WITH THE LOCATION OF THESE
DRUGS ARE LARGE, ROTATING GEARS (ENGINE COMPARTMENT ?) AND A LARGE, OVAL
TANK CONTAINING AN OILY SUBSTANCE (FUEL TANK?). THE DRUGS APPEAR TO BE IN
THE FORM OF A HARD RESINOUS SUBTANCE AND ARE PACKED INTO BALES , OR BLOCKS.
THE CURRENT LOCATION OF THIS VESSEL APPEARS TO BE IN THE AREA OF NORTHERN
PUERTO RICO, IN THE VICINITY OF SAN JUAN. THE INTENDED AREA OF OFFLOADING/
TRANSFER OF THIS CARGO IS THE SOUTHEASTERN TIP OF FLORIDA , BETWEEN WEST PALM
BEACH AND MIAMI.
