BACKGROUND:
The issue of specific interest centers around
possible acts of terrorism that could be directly or indirectly
initiated by Iran in retaliation for the recent downing of the
Iranian Jet Air Bus by the USS Vincennes in the Persian Gulf.
ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF INFORMATION:

Determine if any acts of terrorism are to be initiated
directly or indirectly, against the US in retaliation for the
downing of the Iranian Jet Air Bus.
Describe the nature of the activity, if any.
Describe the projected results of the activity.
The reporting of an absence of a projected activity is
acceptable and useful when it is so perceived.
