There are people of differing grades or levels associated
with the site; some are chiefs, some are Indians, some in
between.
Specialties.
Certain technicians can only work on
certain aspects.
This has to do with both turf and
efficiency/safety.
A few manager types oversee and coordinate
rest of "labor" force.
One person here is younger, mustached,
good-natured, and a little idealistic and naive, like an
"apprentice. "
He's excited about his job.
He is specialized,
and has to do with fitting, connections, tubing, "like" a
plumber, but more precise and specialized.
Special access must
be allowed to be here.
It is a privilege.
A person gets certain
perks for being involved, and it is understood that these are in
return for closed-mouthedness.
People here know that if they're
too careless about what they say about their job, they not only
get taken off it, but lose their special benefits.
Patriotic
feel -- for the good of the "Motherland". New development to foil
the plots of enemies of the homeland.
Again impression of
nuclear engineering.
Words like induction, flux, impulsion,
capacitance, pressure containment, closed system are involved.
Feeling of immense directed power or forces controlled and
channeled.
Power/force levels start out low but build up to huge
concentrated energy/power levels that are all contained within
the constraints of the [Anlage].
This energy never seems to go
anywhere or do anything else.
It's developmental, experimental ,
high-tech, exciting for the people involved, and has some sort of
significant application for national strategic goals -- not
necessarily military, but also economic.
