MISSION:
A threefold mission was launched
against targets prepared by DIA (DT) , specifically:
Determine
from
a map of Beirut the exact location of the site where Terry
Waite is being held hostage; Determine the future of the Ayatolla
Khomeini with emphasis on the possible passage of power; and,
determine the state of mind, reason for transfer, nature of
influence, degree of self-contentment, and future roles of an
individual of specific interest.

COMMENTS: Dr Vorona was present in the CRV room
during the session.
observed the proceedings from the
monitor room.
The session was
videotaped.
No inclemencies were
noted. Nervousness was kept in check as a result of a session
previously held, monitored, and video-taped by program
personnel.A summary of the results of the session is attached.
WRV constitutes a new form of viewing methodology for this
program.
The conduct of several utility assessments related to
person, places, things and events should be pursued, assessed for
their accuracy and pertinency to the collection of foreign
intelligence.

SUMMARY
KHOMEINI
There appeared to be some
related to a time frame
of "two months" or "two years" related to Khomeini, and his
Influence on current and future events.
Additional
confusion was
also generated on the issue of interest, ie, "Khomeini 's
projected demise", and, "Khomeini 's ssys of power. "
Based on
data previously obtained regarding the anticipated release of
Terry Waite from Captivity, the following
analytical conclusions
were made.
Khomeini 's personal
demise will occur in about two
years from now, in 1990.
The passage of power from Khomeini to a
substantially more reasonable group of ruling individuals will
take place in about two months (APR 88) .
The results of a
previous session conducted against Terri Waite revealed that
negotiations would probably take place in May 88; Rudolf Cordes,
German national, would probably be
Esteasto from captivity in
June 1988; Terry Waite along with two other hostages would
conceivable be released in August; and Terri Anderson would also
be released from captivity in (late?) August.
Terri Anderson was
described
as the
stically weakest, and Terri Anderson
from headaches;

A search was conducted with the assistance of a detailed
map on
Beirut.
The location of Terry Waite's current whereabouts
were indicated in an area described as quadrant A and somewhat to

as a point of
