Note:

would write down the coordinates and allow the
subsequent
ideogram to develop.
Upon the completion of the
ideogram, I would then look up at the target sheet and "look" for
a color differentiation on the sheet. Today, the specific square
was illuminated by a small, bright white light reminiscent of that
from a doctor's penlight.

BACKGROUND: This is a continuation of a series known as the
"communication proficiency project" devised for use by a potential
customer. It involves the selection of one of the appropriate
squares reflected on the attached 4X4 matrix.

-The series involves the use of a beacon person (Mickie) who
will randomly select a square and mark it with a large "X".
-
Initially, no specific message will be associated with the
selection.
At a later date, this approach will be adapted for
actual message transmission (from a potential prisoner, hostage
etc. )
