THE BOTTOM AND SITS ON A TAPERED BASE THAT SPIRALS DOWNWARD ( SEE SKETCH ,
PAGE 5 OF SESSION ) . THE AREA IS SURROUNDED BY GREY , TALL , RUGGED , ROCK-LIKE .
IRREGULAR FORMATIONS.
AOL : THIS STRUCTURE REMINDS ME OF ONE OF THE " DREI BRÜCKE " MONUMENTS ( SEE
ATTACHED SKETCH ) . THERE IS ONE LOCATED AT RHEIN MAIN AIR BASE , GERMANY
AND ANOTHER LOCATED ADJACENT TO TEMPELHOF AIRFIELD IN WEST BERLIN .
THE MONUMENTS ARE DEDICATED TO THE " BERLIN AIRLIFT "
