He is somehow familiar with the person who had stayed in the bed and his situation. He knows something was being done to someone. He is aware of the severity of the experience and either understands the importance of it or simply accepts it. The bed is empty now. An older scientist is present. He might have gray hair with a bald spot and glasses. Although he was assigned to this project, the scientist is hopeful that the results will be a significant enough of a breakthrough so that he may receive recognition. He, once again, handles the technical and mechanical aspects of the experimental procedure. The scientist is quiet controlled and reserved (conservative) . He feeis his job is the most important and puts in long hours. The Scientist helps to run the show (heads the project) and tries to create new insights for the developmental process. He is willing to do whatever it takes. He also records results. Different members of the team are all younger, less experienced .and have separate roles. They are also less patient and rougher in their tactics. . Individual rights are not of primary concern in this country. These people are all learning through rudimentary experimental procedures to do what they are doing. They have not -mastered levels of expertise (book knowledge). What they are doing is to be used when training their own government personnel. This training is in opposition to other government personnel. In other words, it is an advantage only for their own network of defense people. Unorthodox procedures are involved. The scientist is concerned also with the physical or bio-chemical aspects. Physical monitoring devices are utilized for the biological system. ) I get the impression that the results of this project can help young soldiers. . 1 The project area seems to be sectioned off from the rest of the building.
