MOST OF THE DATA PROVIDED WAS GOOD DATA, BUT MUCH OF IT WAS NOT PERTINENT TO THE DESIRED RESPONSE. THIS WAS LARGELY DUE TO THE MONITER, WHO LET THE VIEWER BELIEVE THAT THIS WAS AN OPERATIONAL MISSION. THE VIEWER HAD TO DEAL WITH PRECONCEIVED AOL& FROM THE START. IN SPITE OF THE AOL , THE VIEWER DID QUITE WELL AS EVIDENCED BY SIGNAL DATA CONTAINED IN SESSION. 4. RESUME TIME: 1000L 9 FEB 89 END TIME: 1050L Site is a storage facility, The site is highly secured with guards and remote sensing devices. The buildings at the site are a mix of old and new. There is a chain link ience with razor wire at the top surrounding the complex. There are ceiling pipes, lights, large heavy doors, loading platforms and both large and small vehicles moving about in the area. There is a series of railroad tracks in the area which Support the complex itself. These tracks ron into the complex, and terminate at loading and unloading docks. Some of these tracks are small gauge vice the more prevalent standard gauge tracks. Freight cars move into the complex Larryinu sealed metal cylinders (AOL like bombs or torpedoes) stacked inside. Sometimes these larger freight cars are unloaded and the freight is moved over the smaller gauge rail to other storage sites inside the complex. There are hundreds of 55 gal. drums sitting inside the structure some are also on loading docks. Alongside these large drums are smaller ones which are ultimately placed inside the larger ones and sealed. The small drums contain white crystals with elements of black in them, others of the small drums contain what look like dark shaded or black rocks. There is a clear liquid surrounding the smail drums once they are placed inside the larger ones (ALL like fuel oil). Markings on the drums indicate danger and flammable or combustible. There are large cooling fans and ventilation ducts present in and around the buildings. There are people moving about some lifting, driving, taking inventory on clipboards, or monitoring information form large panels. A present while viewing the site left me with the impression that there is something missing in the safety squetion. There is a perception that unskilled personnel work here or do what is done here under the supervision of others -- but there is still something amiss !
