SUMMARY OF INFORMATION:
The target is a structure that has some kind of event
or action that happens to it.
The structure is curved with
a pointed, almost triangular shaped front.
It has
different levels on top and different objects around it,
including a rounded object on the top. There is water at
the site, which makes me think that the target is a ship.
Colors evident are blue, green and red. There is something
striped with curved stripes, and a dark, square,
loudspeaker shape. There is a round, tube like object, and .
a round object with hole or a piece of it missing.
It is
very bright.
There are people here. They seem to be
scrambling around.
I can see one person crouching down and
walking very fast. People are yelling and screaming. I
can see a long shape moving from right to left and then
there is a loud BOOM!
It is very bright and pieces seem
to be falling in all directions.
There are two people
sitting in a little boat.
There also is a structure that looks like a building
with a low roof and red shingles.
The side of the building
is concrete with a sandy, rough, grain to it.
The door of
this building is huge, strong and made of metal.

At first I was looking at the structure from the top,
in a lot of blue (water) and I thought it was a ship. Then
I saw it from the bottom and when I looked up and saw a
long object surrounded by a lot of blue (air) I thought
that it was an airplane. Either way, something happened to
this structure that caused a very loud BOOM or explosion
(from a possible tube like missile) .
The entire sky lit
up, everything was bright and there were bright shapes like
flames or streamers falling from the sky. The structure
also lit up very bright. Then it was dark and I could no
longer see the structure, only the two people in the small
boat.

The YANKEE-Class SSBN that sank off Bermuda in October 1986 as a result of an explosion in one
of its missile tubes served as a reminder of the constant SLBM threat to the US.
third greater than that of the US Ohio-Class.
It can operate under the Arctic Ocean icecap,
adding to the protection afforded by the 8,300-
kilometer range of its SS-N-20 SLBMs. Two or
three additional 25,000-metric ton TYPHOONs
are probably under construction and will be
operational by the early 1990s.
The Soviets since 1978 have removed 15
YANKEE I units from service as ballistic
missile submarines by dismantling their
launchers. These units were removed as newer
submarines were produced in order for the
overall Soviet SSBN force to stay within the
62 modern SSBN/950 SLBM limits established
in 1972. Some have been reconfigured as attack
or long-range cruise missile submarines.
In a widely reported accident, the Soviets
lost a YANKEE-Class SSBN in the Atlantic
near Bermuda in October 1986. The ship suf-
fered serious structural damage as a result of
an explosion, presumably of volatile missile
fuel. The loss of this unit had a negligible
impact on Soviet strategic forces.
Force Developments. The Soviets have
launched four units of a new class of SSBN,
the DELTA IV, that are fitted with the SS-N-23
SLBM. This large, liquid-propelled SLBM will
have greater throw-weight, carry more war-
heads (10 rather than 7), and be more accurate
than the SS-N-18, which is currently carried on
the DELTA III-Class SSBN. Up to two more
DELTA IVs are under construction. A new
class of submarines is likely to enter the force
in the early 1990s.
