Summary of Information
Target vessel, identified as the
-
seems to be
a broad beamed motor sailer, with a rounded stern, blunt, rounded
bow, wood construction, and wood grained in color with green trim
and a white-topped cabin roof.
The cabin is aft, and there
appear to be at least two masts and a short, blunt bowsprit.
A
possible callsign associated with the vessel is something like
"Mike India X-Ray 7 Oscar." The vessel intends to effect a
transfer of contraband near dawn on 25 April 1990 at a location
in the vicinity of 13130N/7450W.
From this point, whatever
vessel is carrying the contraband will proceed north between
Jamaica and Haiti, around the eastern corner of Cuba, through the
Bahamas, to the Miami area in Florida.
