079 reported that the
can be located at
geographical coordinates 18 N - 85 W.
It is currently carrying a large
amount of contraband which is located at the mid portion of the ship.
The
vessel will sail through the Gulf of Mexico and wait for instructions on
where to off-load. Off-loading may occur in the southwestern portion of
the U.S.
The call sign "Frampton/Rompton/Frompton" phonetically surfaced.
3.
(S/STD/NF)
003 reported that the vessel is presently in the vicinity
west northwest of the Cayman Islands at 21 N - 84 W. Hard, white granular
material in heavy plastic sheeting is inside metal boxes. These are
stored inside an airtight, smelly compartment which may be covered with
dead, slimy, sea animals. The contraband is bound for the SE coast of
Florida at 26 40' N - 80 10' W. The vessel may not carry the drugs all
the way, but instead, may "pass off" in the vicinity of the present
location in the very near future.

(S/STD/NF) 095 reported that the vessel is south of Haiti at
15 N - 74 30' W and is heading east northeast at 27 1250L April 1990.
It
is carrying cocaine which is in small, fist sized, clear plastic bags and
wrapped in insulating materials. These are then stuffed in small nooks
and crannies around engine/machinery across the stern. The drugs are
mainly starboard and center below the water line at D-F on the grid.
The
contraband will be transferred to a similar sized vessel on 30 April 1990
sometime after 2200 hours at a location east of Turks and Caicos Islands
at 22 12' N - 69 12' W.
A second vessel will continue toward the U.S.
A call sign sounds like "Macheeka/Micheeka/Cheeca/Chko".
