Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000800370003-1 Feedback on JT4-058-90 OOF: 11 1100L Jul 90 SG1A On 10 Jul 90, vessels ANGELSEY TRADER and ROCKY I were in port. Vessel SARIE BAY had just left (either on 9 Jul 90 or the early am of 10 Jul). Present in port were additional vessels # 1, 2, 3, and 4. Vessels #1 and ROCKY I contained narcotics. (see sketch a, attached for a description of vessel 1 and the port layout on 10 Jul 90) On 11 Jul 90, Vessels ANGELSEY TRADER, ROCKY I, # 3 and # 4 were still in port. ANGELSEY TRADER will be leaving sometime later in the day. Vessel # 2 left. Vessel # 1 left with narcotics on board. A fifth vessel arrived and took the spot vacated by # 1. (see sketch B for port layout on 11 Jul 90). OOC: 11 1200L Jul 90 SG1A There are currently (11 Jul) three vessels here. One is a small vessel, the size of a pleasure craft and the other two are large, commercial vessels. There are currently two, young men on board the small vessel, packaging contraband into cellophane tubes in the front of the vessel. This medium sized shipment of contraband will be transfered to the SCHLEI which is located to the right of the smaller vessel. This (and/or the departure of the SCHLEI with the contraband) will occur in 2-3 days. "There is a delay/hesitancy in plans from 'GROUPER" (NFI). Related to this operation is the name "KULEI" and a Venezualan or Colombian vessel with associated name "LARGO." The second, large, commercial vessel has the name KOKE/ROKE and is not involved in trafficking. SG1A This area is larger but has less trafficking activity because security is tighter. There are currently (11 JUL 90) 3-5 vessels in port. Concerning the following vessels (OPS DATA: in port 8 or 9 Jul 90): M/V GRANELERO: left on the afternoon of 10 JUL 90. M/V DRAGA COLOMBIA: leaving within 24 hours; slow moving vessel. M/V CIUDAD DE MANIZALES: is still in port; 'Korean related.' M/V EULALIA M: is still in port, will sail soon. M/V SAGITARIO: left, is heading NW to Mexico/ Gulf of Mexico (near Mexican border). M/V TARU: left but has "pulled over" (location unknown) for engine problems. SG1A Concerning current (11 Jul 90) status of following vessels (OPS DATA: in port 9 Jul 90): SARIE BAY: still in port; was busted for trafficking in the past. ANGELSEY TRADER: still in port resting for 2-3 weeks. ROCKY I: will leave shortly on a short, round-trip to a northern bay. Will return to make a second voyage (destination unkown) and then a third voyage from On its third voyage it will be carrying a large load of contraband. The name "GUINEA" is associated with this. SG1A SG1A Concerning vessels originally identified by OOF above: SG1A VESSEL # 1: Is sailing NE and is currently 60 nautical miles from Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000800370003-1
