Summary of Information
A large, oval or circular, domed structure is central to the
site.
Predominant colors are white, black, and grey, and a
gleaming or shiny/glossy appearance is significant.
The
structure is voluminous, but has a sense of honeycombing inside --
lots of varying-sized spaces with rounded dimensional
relationships.
Inside there is an emphatic feeling of
hollowness, height and volume, as well as echoing and directed
lighting.
Intersticing and structural
girders are present away
from the primary areas of interest inside the structure, creating
a criss-crossing supportive effect.
An acoustical quality is
important here, and a sense of intangible aesthetics.
Some
aspects of the performing arts is central to this location.
