(S-SS) RESULTS: A time line (see page 2 of session
transcript) drawn with one end as "L when new" and the other
end as "L now" produced some impressions of change.
Those
changes were:
Physcial
changes:

Physical changes occurred
beginning at about the half-way point.
They were:
1)
First there was a sudden but very slight relief
of pressure (almost like a tiny crack of insignificant
proportions happened) .
2)
Further down the line, there was a sudden taste
of copper or tarnish which quickly stabilized, and only grew
slightly as the time line progressed.
3)
Near the present time, a cool, inert feeling
began to appear during those times when L was not active.

Activity changes:
There was an impression all
along the time line that L has intermittent times of
activity,
interspersed with times of non-activity.
The
differences between "when new" and "now" are:
(1 )
During its times of non-use, L appears to be
cooler and more inert now than it was when new.

2)
During its times of use, there is an almost
imperceptable
difference, but it appears to be of no
significance,
whatever (see 3.c. Function changes: , below) .

Function changes:
I find no perceptable difference
in L's functioning between "when new" and "now".
d.
Change in Users:
The circle of users in the
immediate vicinity of L appears to have shrunk over the time
line, but there is presently a "distant user" who was not
there before.
This "distant user" accesses L only by very
indirect
means (see allegorical sketch, page 3) .
There was
also a strong impression that the users must schedule their
usage of L, often having to "queue up", almost like waiting
in line for it.
