SUMMARY OF INFORMATION

Target Site
a
nuclear reproduction facility of considerable

size, is located in a southern and isolated area of the Soviet
Union.
It also serves as a vast nuclear research center
dedicated to the technical research and advancement of Soviet
designs.
The study of electro-optics is being pursued at this
target site.
Other areas of specific concern are advancements in
"soft hardware", "splicing needles" and radiation.
New
methodology is being developed that will
make "telemetry" as we
have known it, virtually obsolete.
An estimated 6,000 personnel
are employed at this facility. A cadre of highly educated
military personnel, accredited physicists, direct the overall
activities at the target site.
This target site is not very well
hidden from sight.
The presence and active participation of the
"too many specialists" represents an exploitable security
weakness.
In the future, it will receive a great deal
of
unfavorable publicity. The Soviet Union is also developing the
equivalent if its AWAC capabilities at the target site.
The
development of telescopic radiation dealing with highly minute
particles in a highly complex manner is also ongoing at this
target site.
The site functions and operates much in the same
manner as "Gardner/Gainer (phonetic)" does in the US.
The
principal target structures are bigger than normal; they are
wide, square, clean.
The presence of huge windows allows for a
high degree of light infiltration into the buildings.
