SUMMARY OF INFORMATION
For the most part,
the hostages find themselves more
less
constantly on the move.
The International
Airport (BIA)
appears
to serve as a main point of focus in the course of
this ongoing
shuffle. However, Robert Polhill has not moved; he remains in
place.
On the other hand, Alan Steen
and Joseph Cicippio
are
being led south towards the Lebanese
Israeli border where the
"dumping" of these two hostages was
initially projected to occur
LTC Higgins has succeeded in befriending one of his captors
described as a Lebanese Druze who normally resides in Beirut and
who could very well
facilitate the release of Higgins.
Higgins '
deprivation even though he is being well treated at this time.
He will require pronounced medical attention upon his release.
LTC Higgins is currently located in an area known
as "Aramun"

Terry Waite and Terry Anderson are now returning towards the

Reed and Tracy remain with the principal
group of
hostages previously indicated as being at the "Military
Barracks. "
Jesse Turner continues to be confused with Thomas Sutherland;
it is Sutherland who will
follow Higgins out of captivity.
