This person impresses me as being, on the surface, someone doing something he doesn't logically agree with, but secretly supports. NOTE: I think I have switched my attachment from the person who was originally at site to someone else: possibly a person meeting him. This person seems to be easier to have an empathetic contact with. One appears to be waiting for a long time for the other. This first one is very businesslike, and unemotional. The second is nervous, seems trapped into something which he doesn't, on the surface, want to do, but inwardly has a secret joy at doing. The event seems to center around the second man bringing an envelope to the first man. Inside the envelope is a folded sheet of paper with a small area of it typed on. 5 minutes later there are no longer any perceptions of either man at the site. SELF-EVALUATION : I don't know how much of this was AOL, driven by the fact that I accepted the first impressions of the site, which came sooner and clearer than is usual. These first impressions were more on the vague visual level, but I am finding that that seems to be customary with the sealed envelopes, so it is beginning not to bother me so much. Perceptions "felt" right throughout the session, so I would personally place some credence in it, but always with the skepticism which comes from the knowledge of how sneaky and powerful AOL can be.
