UNITED STATES ARMY
INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY COMMAND
OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY CHIEF OF STAFF FOR OPERATIONS
20 December 1982
MEMORANDUM TO CHIEF OF STAFF
SUBJECT:
Project CENTER LANE
Sir,
Attached, forwarded as an item of interest.
It reflects our ODCSOPS current thinking
regarding subject and where we think we ought to
go for the reasons stated. My only amendment
thereof is as shown on Colonel Miller's cover
memo which would put you squarely in the middle
of this action. So far as I can tell, this is
not a crash action and we won't have to take any
precipitous moves at this time but I do concur
in the direction outlined herein.
STANLEY/H. HYMAN
Colonel, GS
DESOP'S
