Briefed COL Kirk, Chief
of Staff, USAINSCOM on details of MOA.
Col Kirk took exception
to the portion of the MOA dealing with
the transfer of
equipment. There is a current shortage within USAINSCOM of word
processing equipment and automobiles, and he will recommend that
those ICLP items not be included in the transfer. DIA should
make provisions to provide those items. Formal staffing of MOA
at USAINSCOM and DA staff pending formal receipt of letter from
ACSI notifying CG, INSCOM of ICLP cancellation and authorizing
transfer action.
2.
(S/CL-3/NOFORN)
The transfer process appears to be going
well.
There is a great deal of work to be done to accomplish the
transfer, but no major obstacles are expected.
