Coley, I have recently boen informod by Russell Targ of Stamford Research Institute of the yearly conference sponsored by your foundation upon the relation of parapsychology to other disciplines, and that this year the conference will be held in Zurich and will bo concarried with porapsychology in its relation os physics. It is my understanding tiet this is a closed conference, by invitation only, at which all participants normally prosent papers. At the suggestion of Dr. Targ I am writing with the hope of obtaining porzission to attend this conference as an observer. I an sattpresently om cotive rescarcher in this area, but have a long standing interest in porapsychology, and also some ideas of my own of some possible physical mechanisms of it. In addition, as a general theoretical physicist, I cm convinced that these matters deserve far more serious attention from the physics community then they hove heretofore received. I am willing end able to defray all the expenses of ty attendance at this conference in exchange for the opportunity to learn at first bond the current thinking about possible physical bases of parapsychology.
