MEMO
TO:
Dave Johnson
FROM:
H. E. Puthoff
SUBJECT:
Proxmire Response Re Psychoenergetics
DATE:
26 September 1977
LOCATION: 44
CC:
Since fear of the "Proxmire Effect" is often cited in discussions
with sponsors and potential sponsors, I asked a friend of mine in
psychoenergetics research (who was originally from Wisconsin) to query
his senator with regard to this field. The original letter and
Senator Proxmire's response are attached.
I am circulating copies to
appropriate government officials.
