Approved For Release 2003/09/10 : CIA-RDP96-00787R000200020016-3 CONFIDENTIAL 7 October 1976 SG11 MEMORANDUM FOR: OPP/PPD, IC Staff SUBJECT : OTS Support to Research in Parapsychology I recently saw a copy of the minutes of the twelfth meeting of the Human Resources Committee Research and Development Sub- committee of 20 September 1976. This was the meeting in which some OTS people briefed the Committee on our past support to parapsychology research. I note in paragraph three of the minutes the statement was made that " ... enough empirical evidence existed to warrant further research in this area." I think you know my position on this, but just in case there is some con- fusion I want to make myself clear. OTS will not support any further research in parapsychology. David S.
