MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT :
Request for Information about Stanford
Nosearch Institute (SR .: ) Paranormal Research
expect by Mr. Wilhelm former Time Reporter
.....
Wilhelm, a former Time reporter has written
F
1
A Ether to d. Anderson, presidence of SRI requesting
permission to interview Dr. H. Puthoff and Mr. R. Tarq
the investigators of paranormal abilities. Ostensibly
Mr. Wilhelm desires to write a true positive story of the
activities at SRI to obviate the previous biased public
accounts.
:
1
Dr. Puthoff called and reported the above. He
also solicited our opinion on the request.
It was mutually
agreed that since publication of certain portions of the
work isimminent, refusal to see Mr. Whilhelm would only
delay such interviews which will become more frequent in
the future.
The SRI investigators will grant the interview
and confined the discussions to the innocuous portions
1
of their studies.
